Home Child Therapy

A safe space for your child to express themselves

Children don't always have the words for what they feel. Through play, drawing, and narrative, I help them make sense of their emotions and find their own strengths.

What is child therapy?

Child therapy is a process where children ages 4 to 12 find their own space to express what they feel, away from the expectations and pressures of the adult world.

I use play therapy as my primary tool. Play is childhood's natural language — through it, children process experiences, explore emotions, and discover new ways to face what worries them.

I also offer guidance for parents or caregivers, because a child's individual process is better supported when the adults around them understand what is happening.

Signs your child might benefit

  • Behavioral changes: more irritable, withdrawn, or aggressive
  • School difficulties (social or academic)
  • Fears or anxiety that interfere with daily life
  • Difficulty separating from mom or dad
  • A difficult event: divorce, move, loss of a loved one
  • Regressions (like bedwetting or thumb-sucking)
  • Sleep problems or frequent nightmares

My approach to child therapy

I work with a narrative approach adapted for childhood. This means I help children tell their own story, identify the "problem" as something separate from them, and discover the resources they already have to face it.

Sessions are playful and creative. We use games, drawings, stories, and puppets as therapeutic tools. Each session lasts 45 minutes and is complemented with parental guidance.
