Learn to listen to what your emotions are telling you
Emotions aren't the enemy. They're messengers. Emotional therapy helps you understand what they're telling you and respond in ways that bring you closer to the life you want to live.
What is emotional therapy?
Emotional therapy focuses on helping you identify, understand, and manage your emotions in healthy ways. It's not about controlling what you feel, but building a kinder relationship with your inner world.
Many people come to therapy feeling "too sensitive," "too angry," or "unable to feel." In reality, all these experiences are signals that something needs attention.
From a narrative approach, we explore together the story you've learned about your emotions — who taught you that crying is weakness? That anger is bad? — and we build new, more compassionate narratives.
Signs emotional therapy could help you
- You frequently feel overwhelmed by intense emotions
- You avoid or suppress what you feel
- Your emotional reactions affect your relationships
- You struggle to identify what you're feeling
- You feel emotionally empty or disconnected
- You react disproportionately to everyday situations
My approach to emotional therapy
I work with a narrative approach that helps you externalize difficult emotions: you're not someone who "is" anxious or depressed — anxiety or sadness is something that visits you. This separation creates space to respond in new ways.
Together we identify patterns, explore their origins, and build practical tools so you can navigate your emotions with greater confidence in your daily life.
